Here is some nice Saturday morning reading. The Guardian and The San Francisco Chronicle both have interviews with Rob. Here's an excerpt from each:
Yet Pattinson himself can take none of the attention seriously. Educated at a private day school in London, he has the kind of posh English accent Americans love, but he's not remotely pretentious or full of himself. His Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, once said that Pattinson can't lie; he also can't seem to stop talking. Right now he's describing the hotel room in Vancouver, where he's been filming
You can read the full interview HERE.
*My personal favorite line is, "Oh, and he's six-foot tall with the lean body of youth." Yes he is!
The San Francisco Chronicle:
"I feel like most of the time for the past few months I'm pretty much working every time I get out of the house, working or not, so I might as well be working," he says. "I'm always in work mode. Just in case someone comes up to you, you've got to have your game face on."

Last day of filming at New Moon theater set. Kristen stopped as she was leaving in the early morning (which you hear her say) to talk to fans who had been waiting all night to catch a glimpse of the stars. Robert Pattinson, Anna Kendrick (Jessica) were also there.
We asked about the "Jett Movie" meaning the Joan Jett biopic 'The Runaways' she's about to start filming after she wraps 'New Moon' in Vancouver & Italy later this month. Thanks for being so great to your fans Kristen!
Isn't Kristen so sweet to her fans!
Ashley Greene has some really important statements on her Twitter right now that all fans should read. She is commenting on giving Robert Pattinson his space & respecting him. If you saw the earlier video we posted from E!, you know Ashley tells of an experience of Rob being chased down an alley way by fans. If I knew how to make the twitter boxes I would but I always get them from my blogging friends who know how to make them & I don't know if anyone has posted about this yet.
Some of what she says is:
Its so hard for him so this is my plea to the world respect him as a person and give him some space you dk how much that would mean 2 him
I know we all love Rob but just try to hold back on craziness a little plz I know it doesn't seem like it but he's just a normal guy
Don't get me wrong we all love what we do and we love are fans or we wouldn't be doing it and I know what I'm saying iv all ready said
But imagine being afraid to leave the room your in and people chasing you down where ever you go? Its scary I'm so not on the level rob is
I'm totally venting on twitter ha ha which = prob not a good idea! I just needed to make my plea and I hope most of u understand y :)
Visit Ashley's (?) Twitter HERE. *There is controversy as to whether this is Ashley's real twitter or not. Even if it is a fake the point is be nice to Rob, don't chase him*
In this scene in the movie, Bella leaves the theatre with Jessica (the first time she goes to the theatre, not the second time when she goes with Mike and Jacob)… and encounters the same gang that she did in the first movie. And they’ve got motorcycles. She decides to go on a joyride with one of the gang members to try to upset Edward into appearing in her head again. Only in this particular movie scene, they actually filmed Rob Pattinson standing right beside Kristen Stewart telling her not to go, with Kristen standing and talking to the gang member beside his bike.
Thanks to Vancity Allie for the amazing video & report & to Pillow Bitters for sending it to me. This is so exciting. Wow!

"American Idol" Season 1 runner up Justin Guarini wants to be a part of the "New Moon" film. MTV Newsroom is reporting that Justin has written a song specifically for "New Moon" and is asking for help from fans to get it on the soundtrack.
For those who don’t keep abreast of Guarini’s every move (which is probably 99.9 percent of you), the curly-haired crooner just posted a song called “I Can’t Live” on his official site, which he “wrote specifically for ‘New Moon.’” He even made a video for the track — basically just a series of still photographs of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart — and told fans “If you like it, make sure to spread the word and ask Stephenie Meyer to put it on the soundtrack.”
He also posted the video on his official YouTube channel — tagging it with every conceivable “Twilight” theme imaginable, not to mention “Swine Flu” for added search-engine oomph — and let fans have their say on the track.
And, well, that’s where things get a little ugly .
It seems that most of the citizens of YouTube Nation didn’t think too highly of Guarini’s track — or his blatant attempt to latch onto the “New Moon” film.
Comments ran the spectrum, from thoughtful (”Oh, Justin … I love you and I haven’t heard from you in ages, but really? ‘Twilight?’ Sigh. Everyone is going to the dark side these days”) to petty (”wow this is very shi–y! lol! laaaaaaaaaaaame”), but pretty much everyone seemed to agree that the song just wasn’t up to snuff, and that Guarini was just making a desperate grab for some of that sweet, sweet Stephenie Meyer Swag.
Of course, there were some fans who decided to take up the G-man’s quest, starting an online petition to have “I Can’t Live” added to the the “New Moon” soundtrack. And, for the record, we don’t think the song is that bad (bits of it even sound strangely like Explosions in the Sky), and we can’t really blame Guarini for trying. After all, anything’s got to be better than spending every day alongside Kimberly Caldwell. What do you think?
Okay, I know this is a little late...

Peter was spotted on the red carpet at the "Star Trek" premiere. I wonder if he experienced "fear. Fear in the face of certain death"...or maybe just had a really great time at the movies.
Other stars in attendance included Trent Reznor, Seth Green, Neil Patrick Harris, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lea Thompson, Tori Spelling and more. See?! Everyone has a little bit of 'geek' deep down. We love it.
Check out the red carpet gallery here.
1. ROBERT PATTINSON
As the movie's moody and glistening vampire, Pattinson hasn't budged from the top 100 searches on Yahoo! since "Twilight" migrated from book shelves to big screen. Even his fanged alter ego Edward Cullen's searches would have merited a No. 7 placement. We don't argue with bloodsuckers.
See the qualifications for hunkdom and who else made the list HERE.
Thanks so much CBA member Raquel!

"They are filming all the exterior shots at this theater. Again, two scenes happen here… one where Bella and Jessica go to Port Angeles for a movie, and a second scene where Bella, Mike, and Jacob have that awkward movie date with that scary movie, "The Dead Come Back." "

Read all about Ashley's new puppy Marlow over at People.com:
"She was meant to be mine," gushed the 22-year-old actress, who plays the pixie-like vampire Alice Cullen in the popular series, of her new puppy, Marlow. "I wasn't looking for a dog, and I happened to see her picture online, and I was like, 'I have to have that dog.' "

Thanks to The Twilight Times for the head up.
Here are pictures from the Paramount Theater in New Westminster where they are shooting the movie theater scene & this is a report from NewsGirl News via Pillow Biters:
I arrived on set around 7:30 and they were still setting up. They had to wait for darkness before they could start production. The scene was at the movie theatre. Kristen and Jacob are there and some of Jacobs friends. There were about twenty five back-ground performers.

"What impact will Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn have on a huge sector of the population - the fans - who will eventually become influential decision makers in society? Will people have a new outlook on relationships, love, sex, strength, power, and the age-old struggle between good and evil? In ten years time, 2019, how will the young up and coming power executive be different than the 2009 professional based on their strong, relatable connection to the current Twilight Saga? Will simple day-to-day domestic attitudes toward relationships be impacted by the many layers of Twilight?" (Larson Hill, thedeadbolt.com)
WOW! Talk about deep questions!

Paul Morrison was interviewd by LA Times' writer Elizabeth Snead about "Little Ashes" and Robert Pattinson.
"I don't think Rob realized what he was getting into when he agreed to do it, but he really worked hard at it, he really grappled with it, and I think he's done something very extraordinary. It's so difficult to do, because you have to tread light all the time between playing Dali as a young lovable young man, which he was, and suggesting the kind of pastiche of himself that he became in later life, that he presented to the public in later life, and that's a very tall order, and I think Rob pulled it off. "

5. Kristen Stewart is going to be playing rock icon Joan Jett. Is there a rock icon that you'd like to play?
I'd love to play Van Morrison, but I doubt I would get the part [laughs].
6. Who would you love to tour with, if you were going to do a tour as a musician?
Rob: I'd quite like to tour with Kings of Leon. I think they're pretty cool.
7. If you couldn't be an actor or a musician, what do you think you would be doing?
I'd quite like to be a political strategist and like a spin doctor. [Laughs] I'd really, really like to do that. I think I will end up doing that at one point.
8. Can you talk about the movie you're signing on, or about to sign on, called 'Memoirs'?
It's not final yet, but I think if it does happen it'll be a fantastic movie. It's an amazing script. I think Jenny Lumet [who's writing the script] is incredible and Allen Coulter [who's directing] is also. I think it could be. I was quite excited about it. I was working in New York on the script a few weeks ago, and we came up with some really cool stuff.

If Rob went on tour with the KOL I would just die!! There are no words for something that awesome and having Rob as a spin doctor would be heaven on earth for this former poly sci major. Do it Rob, do it!!

Thanks to rolltide4me for sending this to me.
Fandango: Is it harder playing a real person, as opposed to playing the fictional Edward Cullen who had his story laid out in black and white?
Pattinson: I think in a lot of ways it's kind of the same. You're still playing fiction even though you're playing a real character. It's the same kind of approximation of somebody. The only thing that you can take from the book is the general outline, the mood changes, the emotional changes and development. I'm not playing it exactly as it is in the book.
Fandango: Do you and your castmates try to top each other with the wild post-fame encounters you’ve had?
Pattinson: In a lot of ways they are all quite similar. The funny thing is that I'm always going around trying to look as inconspicuous as possible I find that people are always really disappointed when they actually recognize me. They are like "Oh! At first I thought you were a bum but then I realized who you were."

E! Online's Marc Malkin has a quite funny report about some banter going back & fourth between him & Peter Facinelli about Peter's cooking habits. All in good fun of course, read it HERE.

The Examiner's Amanda Bell has written an article discussing Rob's quote and trying to determine whether or not this exact dream could possibly be a scene omitted from "Twilight":
Yet, there is no demonic Edward to be seen, at least that I could tell. Looking back through Twilight, though… alas, there is (at least) one possibility. We already know that there were a lot of parts of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight that were left in the cold with the 2008 film by Catherine Hardwicke. Many of the omissions, we also know, disappointed Twilight fans.
